How can I help?

As a mentor, facilitator, speaker and researcher I help organisations and partnerships when (internal and external) working together is problematic or not successful. I also help to prevent working together from failing (permanently).

As a result of my research into collaboration I work from a unique responsibility-oriented approach to working together.

My Model of Six Responsibilities™, together with my two principles for working both on the organisation and with the teams, my House of Togetherness™ and the CollaboratorScan™, form the guiding principles for organising and guaranteeing the ability to collaborate.

My work is to deal with the Circle of Collaboration Failure , to prevent it and to break it.

Hassle is always there

Everyone has practical experiences with what I call Circle of Collaboration Failure . And there is only one lesson to be learned from that Circle:
when it comes to cooperation, there is always hassle. More or less serious. Soft, rock hard. Below or above the ground. Invisible and visible.
Good news!
With my two principles, you organise and guarantee the capacity for cooperation of your organisation or partnership. This will increase the quality of your cooperation and prevent the occurrence of hassles. Working together will probably not be 100% effortless, but with these two principles you avoid dependence on uncertain incidental (and often external) interventions in case there is some (serious) friction. This also makes a considerable difference to the costs.

2 principles

The 2 principles for organising and guaranteeing the ability to collaborate originate from my research. One principle is about the choice and policy for working together, the 'internal code of conduct', the systems and the space and help for the people. The other principle is about what is involved in the cooperating process itself.

Consequently, one principle lies in the skin around the spot where the collaboration takes place (on a daily basis). That skin is formed by the organisation. The second principle lies in the team and the team members.

The 2 principles result in a higher quality of collaboration, in successful working together and they also function for you!

Successful collaboration

Working together is successful when both principles and the six responsibilities that go with them for organisation and team(s) support each other.

The House of Togetherness™

For the practice of the second principle, the House of Togetherness™ has been developed especially for teams. This model provides all the structure needed to get out of the problems (hassle) and deal with the difficulties.

A good and practical approach to the House of Toegetherness™ for employees is the
